The Snowexcuse festival will host an incredible line up of Australian’s most prominent chefs, with a series of high quality food and wine events. A gourmet adventure in Dinner Plain!

Planned events:

Grazing at the Top
An exploration of food and wine along The Great Alpine Road
Featuring Graze Head Chef, Leigh Irish formerly of the multi award winning Flying Fish Cafe in South Australia and hosted by Clare Burder, wine educator and creator of Eminence wines, the evening will take you on a journey of some of the best produce from the North East and Gippsland including regional wine comparisons and matched local produce.

Leigh Irish did his apprenticeship in select restaurants including Donovans and Chinos and returns to the high country after more than 10 years as Executive Chef at the renowned Flying Fish Cafe.

Clare Burder is a King Valley local, obsessive about food, wine and extravagent dinner parties, she is a wine producer, educator and all round raconteur. Clare is also the director of The Humble Tumbler – which specialises in wine courses and creative wine events.
